Now That You’re Gone - Mariah McManus, Live at The Listening Room, Nashville - 10/27/11
These tracks were just recorded on my iPhone, so, the quality of them is, obviously, not exceptional. I also walked in a few minutes late, so, I missed part of Say It Again, the first song in her four song set.

Video promo for Mariah’s single and, I’m assuming, album. The girls got something. Check her out. She has a few songs up on iTunes, and her debut is supposed to be coming out sometime this summer or fall. And, if you go here and enter your email for the mailing list, you can download the single for free. For free, people. That’s just about as cheap as you can get.

If you listened to the song I posted a few days ago, by Mariah McManus, and liked it, she has a free single available on her site. This one’s a lot more upbeat. I happen to love both. All you have to do is sign up for the mailing list to get your free download. C’mon… It’s free! You know you want it.

Mariah McManus - Unarmed
Every night we were shooting PHX, after everyone had left location, and I was driving back to the condo alone, I would listen to this song. Sometimes I would just repeat it all the way back home. Sometimes I would just sit in the parking lot of the condo, or in the garage and listen to it. I don’t hesitate to say that this song saved my sanity, and has transcended what many other things that are tied to that period (music, images, thoughts, etc.) could not - I can still listen to it clean, and without shuddering, without feeling like I’m dying inside, without being automatically taken back to those two and a half weeks.
It has been almost a year since we shot the film, and while the nightmares have subsided, the friendships remain (some stronger than before), and I’m finally able to let go of the negative emotions that have lingered for so long, I’m glad to say that there has been one thing that has stood rock solid from then until now. Hope you like it. It’s on iTunes if you want to check it out.
